Use this How-To article to learn how to record a teams meeting and access it later for viewing and sharing.
Recording a meeting with Teams
Enter teams meeting.
While in teams meeting click the 3 dots … on the upper bar as shown.
Click start recording
When start recording is pressed the following message will be displayed for all users in the teams meeting.
To stop recording press the 3 dots … in the top information bar and click stop recording as shown.
When start recording is pressed the following message will be displayed for all users in the teams meeting box will be displayed as shown.
When stop recording is pressed the following message will be displayed for all users in the teams meeting.
Once the recording has finished being saved all parties in the meeting will be notified in the teams meeting chat.
To access the recording double-click the recording in the chat window
If the email is not verified the system may require the email to be re-entered at this time. Enter E-mail address and select Next to continue.
11. For additional options click the 3 dots on the right corner.
a. Clicking Open in OneDrive is the same as double-clicking the video.
b. Get link will allow you to copy the link to send to other users.
c. Learn more opens a help link on the Microsoft support site about recording a teams meeting.
d. Report a problem sends feedback to Microsoft.
12. To share the meeting with other users that were not present in the meeting click on Open on OneDrive and then click the share button on the top left corner.
13. Specify the user or users you wish to share the video recording with and click send. (Note) you can also select a uLearn class by typing the class name as well as individual names.
