How to Use the Union Chapel Soundboard and Projector
Follow these instructions to use the Union Chapel soundboard and projector. Microphone setup requests should be submitted to Union Technology (support@unionky.edu) at least one week prior to the event.
Using the Soundboard
Turn on the amp located below the soundboard by clicking the white On/Off switch.
At this point your microphone(s) will be on. You can adjust the volume slider of your microphone channel (at the bottom of the soundboard) to raise and lower the volume. You can also adjust the main volume slider located at the lower right corner of the soundboard. Please do not adjust any other settings on the soundboard unless instructed to do so by Union Technology.
When you are done, please turn the sound board off.
Click the Home button to the right of the soundboard touchscreen.
Click Shut Down on the touchscreen.
ONCE THE SOUNDBOARD INDICATES THAT IT IS OK TO POWER OFF, click the white On/Off switch on the amp below the soundboard.
Using the Projector
Take the Epson projector remote (located at the soundboard) to the center of the Chapel. Aim the remote at the projector above the entry doors and click the On button.
Lower the projector screen by clicking the switch located stage right behind the podium.
The projector uses a ScreenBeam to display the content of your device on the screen. Follow these steps to connect your device: How to Connect to ScreenBeam | ScreenBeam
When you are finished, please turn off the projector by standing in the center of the Chapel and clicking the remote’s On button twice. Also, please raise the projector screen using the switch on the stage behind the podium.
