How to Send Text Messages

The following instructions explain how Union College staff to send text messages to students.
If you are not sure if you have a text message account, please contact support@unionky.edu.
If using a computer, go to https://wetext.pro/ . If using a smartphone, download the WeText app from the store on your phone. You can use either the browser or the smartphone app or both. Please note that text messaging is done through a separate app from the normal text message functionality on your phone.
Log in using your full DID Union phone number (ex. 6065461234) and the password provided to you by Union Technology. If you don’t know your password, please contact support@unionky.edu.
3. Click the new message or plus icon in the bottom right corner of you screen.
4. Enter the phone number of the person you are contacting, type your message at the bottom of the screen, and click the envelope icon to send. When the person responds to the text, you will receive a notification through your browser and/or smartphone.
