The Financial Aid portal is where students go to see and accept their financial aid awards. To log in, this site uses your student ID number (not Union username) and a password that is different than your normal Union College login. This is the link to the portal.
This is what the login screen looks like. To log in, enter your student ID number and password. You may have set a password that is the same as your normal Union College account password, but they are not connected. If you reset your Union password, it will NOT be reset for financial aid.
If you forgot your password, click this link on the login screen.
That will bring you to this screen. Don’t forget to use your student ID number, not your Union College username.
If your account is locked because of too many password attempts, you will get one of the two screens below. Please contact the Financial Aid office to have your account unlocked. (606) 546-1223 (Mon-Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm EST) or firstname.lastname@example.org
If your student ID number is not in the system for some reason, this is the screen you will get. Again, please contact Financial Aid.
If your account is not locked, and your student ID number is recognized you will see this:
You must know the answers to your security questions and enter them correctly, including capitalization. If successful, you will come to the below screen. If you were provided a temporary password, then you can go to the Financial Aid portal and login using your student ID number (not Union College username) and the temporary password. After logging in, you will be immediately required to create a new password:
After you create the new password and gain access, you should go immediately and set your security questions, as this is what will enable you to reset your own password in the future. From the Home screen, click here:
That will bring up this screen. Note that you DO NOT have to also reset your password here. Also note that previous answers to security questions will not be shown, even if they have been previously set.
After you gain access to your account, you will come to the Home screen:
Click Menu at the top left to see your awards (Aid Summary), and also to accept them:
